Job Description Lift Service Engineer\n Location: London - local patch wherever possible Salary: £42,500 - £50,000 depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day On Call: 1 week in 4 Company Van Provided \n JLD Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing independent lift company covering London. \n This is a permanent position offering a competitive basic salary, a local service route wherever possible, flexible working hours and a strong overall benefits package. The Role\n As a Lift Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned servicing, routine maintenance and breakdown response across a range of commercial lift equipment. \n \n Planned preventative maintenance and servicing \n Attending breakdowns and diagnosing faults \n Electrical and mechanical fault finding \n Carrying out minor repairs where required \n Ensuring lifts are operating safely and reliably \n Building good relationships with customers on site \n Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation \n \n Where possible, engineers are allocated a service route close to where they live, helping to reduce unnecessary travelling. Salary & Benefits\n \n £42,500 - £50,000 basic salary , depending on experience and qualifications \n Monday to Friday \n 8-hour working day \n Flexible start and finish times \n Core hours between 10am and 3pm \n 1 in 4 on-call rota \n £250 standby payment for your on-call week, plus enhanced call-out payments \n 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays \n Company van \n Mobile phone \n Pension scheme \n Income protection scheme, subject to qualifying period \n Ongoing technical training and development \n Support from an experienced London-based operations team \n \n Flexible working hours are available, with engineers able to work patterns such as 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm .
