We\’ve partnered with a fast-growing organisation who are hiring a commercially driven Commercial Operations Manager to lead revenue growth across the business through the sale and delivery of events, sponsorships and partnerships.
This is a new role with ownership of the full commercial lifecycle – from pitching and closing deals to delivering high-quality, repeatable events and sponsor activations across multiple sites.
The Role
- Drive revenue through corporate, private and community events, including corporate days, client events, team-building and tournaments
- Identify, pitch and secure sponsorships and brand partnerships (multi-club and individual club)
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across events and partnerships
- Create compelling event and sponsorship packages and close commercial agreements
- Own the delivery of events and sponsor activations, working closely with site teams
- Ensure events are commercially successful, professionally delivered and repeatable
- Identify opportunities to maximise secondary revenue linked to events (pricing, memberships, F&B, retail)
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years’ experience in sales, partnerships, or commercial events (sport, hospitality or lifestyle preferred)
- Proven track record of closing deals and delivering revenue targets
- Confident pitching to businesses, brands and partners
- Highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously
- Strong relationship-builder with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Experience across multiple sites or fast-growth environments a plus
- A passion for sport is a bonus
