We are looking for a Lift Service / Call-out Engineer to join our field operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of lifts across several sectors of industry. Route management and planning skills are essential. The role includes full route ownership of all breakdowns, servicing, and planned repairs. You will work autonomously and within a team as required, liaising with HQ and supporting other engineers as needed. The position involves participating in the call-out rota, overtime when required, and standby as required.

Responsibilities

  • Full route ownership of all breakdowns, servicing and planned repairs.
  • Maintain and repair various types of lifts across multiple sectors.
  • Plan and manage routes; ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team; liaise with HQ and supporting engineers as needed.
  • Participate in call-out rota as agreed; overtime and standby as required.

Ideal Experience / Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of technical systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of lift mechanics, electrics and electronics.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic diagrams/drawings.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • NVQ3 minimum.
  • Full driving licence.
  • DBS and CSCS checks.
