  • Ensure registration systems and user journeys are efficient, user‑friendly and fit for purpose.
  • Plan, implement and optimise paid social media and search campaigns in coordination with external agencies.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors, travel partners, governing bodies, local organising committees and vendors to maximise event exposure and success.
  • Develop engaging event marketing content across promotional materials, email campaigns, organic social, paid social and search, press materials and website updates.
  • Lead relationships with third‑party marketing channels and partners, including influencers, athletes, event listing sites, travel partners and in‑region experts.
  • Create and execute retention strategies to keep participants and spectators engaged year‑round.
  • Deliver compelling participant communications across email and social media.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse KPIs and refine activity to improve results.
  • Act as a key internal point of coordination for assigned events, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and activity is progressing effectively.

About you

  • Proven experience in a marketing executive or similar role, ideally within sports events, ticketing, mass participation, entertainment, rights‑holder or high‑growth environments.
  • Strong all‑round marketing understanding across digital, content and event campaigns.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
