Account Director - Basketball in London

Senior Consultant at JLB | Sports, Media & Entertainment. JLB are delighted to be working with a leading sports and entertainment agency to recruit a talented Account Director (Basketball) to join the team.

Based in London, this role will work with a key client across their global partnership portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Alongside the Vice President, be a trusted advisor and senior partner for our client.
• Assist Vice President in developing actionable strategies that maximise partnership rights. and assets and aligns with brand and business objectives.
• Lead the day-to-day operations, account team, client reporting and budgeting.
• Project manage campaign activations from ideation to execution across owned, earned, shared and paid digital channels.
• Act as a consultant, advising and guiding the client on best practice and processes to drive the sponsorship to new heights.

Requirements

• Must have experience working on partnership activations within basketball globally
• Must have significant agency or in-house experience at a client/campaign lead level.
• Demonstrable exposure to strategic decision making, campaign planning, communications, asset development and amplification and event management is vital.
• Experience in digital and social media marketing, including developing and implementing global digital campaigns.
• A keen interest / experience in sport is advantageous but not critical.
