Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + overtime
Role Summary: Mobile Service Engineer carrying out PPM servicing, reactive repairs, and planned maintenance on commercial and rail-based HVAC systems. Majority service work (no regular installations).
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds (Part 2) Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- F-Gas Certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass D&A screening, railway medical & DVLA check
Desirable:
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Rail experience (training provided)
Systems Worked On: Splits, VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs, LTHW, chilled water systems.
Working Hours & Overtime:
- Door-to-door minus 1.5 hrs (30 mins unpaid travel each way + 30 mins unpaid lunch)
- Minimum day: 9.5 hrs door-to-door
- Overtime: 1.5x, nights/bank holidays 2x
- Occasional Saturdays & nights
- On-call: 1 week in 8 (£125/week + minimum 4-hour call-out)
