About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedFire Alarm Engineer/ Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for theservicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairof fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards in accordance withBS 5839and company procedures.

Fire Service Engineer β Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and related life safety equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections and testing in accordance with relevant standards.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete service reports, certificates, and documentation accurately.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency callouts (additional allowance paid).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.
- Required to travel around London
Fire Alarm Engineer Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service or Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (e.g. Advanced, Kentec, Gent, Morley, Hochiki, Apollo, etc.).
- Understanding of BS 5839 and other relevant standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Desirable:
- FIA training modules (Units 14 or equivalent).
- Experience with addressable and conventional systems.
- Knowledge of emergency lighting and smoke ventilation systems.
