As a HVAC Installation Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality installation and commissioning of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial environments.

You'll work on installation projects involving splits, VRV/F systems, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs, and close control units, taking jobs from preparation through to full handover.

This is a field based role across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Greater Liverpool, and may require occasional overnight stays across nationwide locations.

This position also requires an Enhanced DBS check to be completed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Install, test and commission HVAC systems including splits, VRV/VRF, chillers, heat pumps and ventilation units
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications to deliver installations to required quality standards
  • Support site surveys and pre-start planning to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Coordinate tools, materials, suppliers and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule
  • Work closely with Project Managers, customers and site teams to ensure efficient delivery
  • Complete works within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Provide technical updates and maintain accurate records, certifications and timesheets
  • Recommend improvements to system performance where appropriate
  • Maintain a professional presence on-site and follow all health & safety procedures including RAMS and permits

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in installing and testing HVAC systems from start to finish
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills in live environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and Compliance regulations
  • A basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous, however full training will be provided

Essential qualifications required:

  • Possession of a valid CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • F-Gas Category 1 qualification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • CITB Pipework and Brazing
