We are recruiting an Industrial Door Engineer to join our fast expanding company serving the South West. This role involves working within the Industrial Door and Automation industry, responsible for all aspects of service, repair, and installation of:
- Industrial doors
- Automatic gates
- Automatic doors
- Access control systems
- Traffic barriers
Work will be carried out within industrial and retail premises, whilst covering a call out rota. Product training can be provided.
Essential Qualifications:
- Clean UK Driving License
- Industrial and electrical experience
- Knowledge of the Industrial Door industry
Desirable (not essential, but may be an advantage):
- CSCS Card
- IPAF
- Pasma
- Three phase and single phase electrical knowledge
The right candidate will have fault finding skills, be hard working, self-motivated, and pay attention to detail. You must be capable of working under your own initiative and competent in carrying out verbal instructions, performing physical tasks including moving and lifting heavy objects. Must be willing to work on call out rota and be flexible with working overtime as the business requires.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: 08:00 am - 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime available on a weekly basis and paid accordingly
- 28 days paid holiday inclusive of statutory leave
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: From £17.50 per hour
- Job type: Full‐time, Permanent
