We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a growing and professional technical team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis of a range of electronic security and life-safety systems across commercial and residential sites. The successful candidate will be committed to high standards of workmanship, customer service, and compliance, with strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems
- Fault finding and repair across multiple system types
- Working on systems including (but not limited to):
- Fire alarm systems
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
- Door entry and associated communications systems
Working Hours
08:00 – 16:30. Overtime paid at 1.5x when working past contracted hours on weekdays. Paid travel time for journeys exceeding 30 minutes each way.

- Previous experience working with fire and/or security systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Full UK driving license
