About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join our growing team, covering a Midlands-based patch including Nottingham, Staffordshire, Coventry and Leicester. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial catering environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain commercial catering equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-site
- Work on both gas and electrical catering equipment (where qualified)
- Complete all job paperwork accurately and on time
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Participate in the on-call rota
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer
- Relevant gas qualifications (COMCAT preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
Salary & Benefits
- ÂŁ36,000 - ÂŁ43,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience (higher considered for the right candidate)
- 40-hour working week
- Door-to-door travel time paid
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- 1 in 6 weekend on-call rota
- ÂŁ100 standby payment
- Saturdays paid at 1.5x
- Sundays paid at double time
- Company vehicle, tools and uniform provided
