Role Requirements:
- F-GAS Qualifications complete with NVQ II, and NVQ III or higher would be advantageous.
- Experience in the commissioning, maintenance and servicing of Commercial & Industrial refrigeration equipment and Chillers using HFC / HFO and Natural refrigerants.
- A Full UK driving licence.
- Be a confident communicator.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Be enthusiastic and have good time management skills.
The role of the Senior Refrigeration/Chiller Service Engineer will involve:
- Performing planned and reactive service, attending breakdowns, fault-finding and maintenance works on a variety of Chillers, Process Cooling Systems, Blast Freezers, Spiral Freezers & Walk Ins.
- Managing Customers service & maintenance contract expectations.
- Being the first point of contact for Business development with existing clients and communication with our management & Projects Team.
- Communication & Planning of materials and engineers’ requirements with admin for follow up work requirements.
- Supporting the management of equipment RAG statuses to sites and feedback to Projects teams for opportunities (weekly review meetings).
Equipment Type:
- Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration and Process Cooling Solutions within Blue Chip Food & Drink Manufacturing Sites - Air Cooled Chillers, Water Cooled Chillers, Spirals Chill & Freeze, Coldrooms, Freezer Rooms, Blast Chill & Freeze, Refrigeration Condensing Units & Packs etc.
Overtime:
- x1.5 weekdays and Saturdays x2 Sundays / Bank Holidays.
On Call:
- 1 in 7ish on call rota, £150 standby allowance + call outs at overtime rates x1.5 & x2.
Vehicle:
- Sign Written Van, a vehicle provided by the company will also be available for domestic and private use.
IT Equipment:
- Laptop for reporting and communication.
- Samsung Android phone, complete with service / reporting operating package installed.

- 31 days Holiday (including All Bank Holidays).
