To deliver cost-effective repairs and maintenance of refrigeration and catering equipment supplied or serviced. The role requires a flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Professionalism, courtesy, and resilience under pressure are essential, along with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties- Attend customer premises to service, maintain, and commission refrigeration and catering equipment to a high standard.
- Achieve a high first-time fix rate and minimize recalls through efficient use of labour and parts.
- Demonstrate a positive and adaptable approach to service calls and workload, aligned with business needs.
- Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify potential future business opportunities.
- Contribute suggestions to improve maintenance and repair practices.
- Identify and signal commercial opportunities to the Sales department.
- Respond promptly to service requests as directed by the Service Centre.
- Comply fully with company policies and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Maintain clear and professional communication at all times.
- Provide feedback and support to fellow engineers, supervisors, and call allocators.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by service management.
