We are looking for a Service / Call-out Engineer to join our field operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining/repairing various types of lifts across several different sectors of industry. Route management and planning skills are essential. Responsible for full route ownership of all breakdowns/servicing and planned repairs. Working autonomously and within a team as required. Liaising with HQ and supporting other engineers as and when required. Expected to take part in the call out rota - can be discussed further. Overtime when required. Standby when required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain/repair various types of lifts across several sectors of industry.
  • Route management and planning; full route ownership of breakdowns, servicing, and planned repairs.
  • Work autonomously and within a team as required.
  • Liaise with HQ and support other engineers as needed.
  • Participate in the call out rota (to be discussed).
  • Overtime and standby as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • NVQ 3 minimum (NVQ 3 essential).
  • Full driving licence.
  • DBS check.
  • CSCS card.
  • Good knowledge of technical systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of lift mechanics, electrics and electronics.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic diagrams/drawings.
  • Precision, attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Area to cover will be North West.
