The successful applicant will complete pump overhauls from start to finish within the main workshop. A good electromechanical background required such as previous pump experience, valves, motors, pneumatics, compressors or similar rotating machinery. Fault finding and testing knowledge is required and the ability to read and complete technical documentation a must. All types of pumps are repaired within the department including centrifugal pumps, split case pumps, submersible pumps and vacuum pumps. All manufacturers of pumps repaired including Sulzer/ABS, KSB, Xylem, Grundfos. SPP, Flowserve and other leading manufacturers.
