The Purpose

  • Report to Workshop Foreman.
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and servicing on and off site.
  • Fill in job cards and service sheets with accurate information.
  • Take pictures of defective or damaged parts for warranty purposes.
  • Fill out manual time sheet.
  • Be responsible for H & S, safe working practices in all working areas for themselves and other workers.
  • Capable of using computer diagnostic software.
  • Capable of using a tablet or electronic service sheet.
  • Maintain correct timekeeping.
  • Vehicle presentation after servicing.
  • Be available for training courses when requested.
  • Provide 5-year work history to obtain an enhanced criminal records check to gain an airside pass for Heathrow Airport.
  • Have a clean Criminal Check.
  • Carry out occasional breakdowns in the near vicinity of the workshop.
  • Liaise with reception and management to prioritise workload.
  • Must have a driving licence with less than 6 points, HGV preferable.

  • Responsible for maintenance and servicing on all makes of heavy trucks.
  • Deliver promised work on time and to a high-quality standard.
