About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automatic Door Engineer to join our team, covering London and the surrounding regions. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of automatic door systems, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair automatic doors, swing doors, sliding doors, and associated access control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks in accordance with industry standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-site.
- Provide excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team.
- Maintain accurate job records and complete required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in an on-call rota if required (with additional pay).
Requirements
- Previous experience as an automatic door engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of automatic door systems (e.g., sliding, swing, revolving).
- Ideally certified with ADSA or equivalent (advantageous but not essential depending on experience).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently across London and surrounding areas.
