Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Drainage Engineer to join our team. This role involves carrying out a wide range of drainage works, attending reactive call-outs, performing maintenance and repair tasks, and delivering high-quality customer service across domestic and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out drainage investigations, repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Operate drainage equipment (CCTV survey equipment, jetting units, locators, etc.)
- Attend emergency call-outs and diagnose drainage issues
- Complete reports, surveys, and job sheets accurately
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations
- Liaise with clients onsite to provide updates and professional service
- Travel across Kent, Essex, Dartford, and into London as required
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Drainage Engineer (essential)
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems, fault-finding, and repair techniques
- Competent using jetting, CCTV, and other drainage equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel into London regularly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours or emergency work
