Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Callout Allowance Hours: Monday–Friday (5 days per week) + Callout Rota We are a leading supplier and installer of automatic gates, doors, barriers, and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) systems, including crash-rated bollards, road blockers, and rising barriers. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Engineer with extensive experience in HVM and hydraulic systems to join our team. The Role As an HVM / Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: * Installation, servicing, and maintenance of HVM systems, automatic gates, barriers, and bollards. * Fault-finding and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Conducting site assessments and ensuring systems are compliant and operating safely. * Working closely with our project and service teams to deliver high-quality installations. * Participating in a callout rota About You We’re looking for someone with: * Proven experience working on HVM equipment such as crash-rated bollards, blockers, and barriers. * Strong hydraulic systems knowledge. * Electrical qualifications (17th/18th Edition or equivalent). * Good understanding of gate safety standards and relevant regulations. * A full UK driving licence. * A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a small, professional team.
