About the Role
We are a generator company based in Huntingdon, specialising in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial generator systems. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This role is focused primarily on industrial electrical work, supporting generator installations and associated electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and wiring of industrial generator systems
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
- Control panel wiring and termination
- Testing and inspection of electrical systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Working from electrical drawings and schematics
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards
- Supporting commissioning and site-based installation projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial electrical work (essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Experience working with generators, control panels, or industrial plant (advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
