My client works predominantly on foul and surface water drainage, so experience and knowledge of repairing existing sewers, laying new sewers, installing sewage treatment works, and septic tanks is preferable. The successful candidate must be presentable, polite, enthusiastic, use their own initiative, and take pride in their work. High standards are expected as is a βcan doβ attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excavation and Site Preparation: Digging trenches, removing vegetation, and generally preparing the sub-surface for construction.
- Drainage Installation: Laying drainage pipes, installing manholes, and constructing soakaways according to plans and building regulations. Connecting pipework to existing systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Following relevant health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekend job if required will have to be discussed and agreed together).
