Job Description

To Install, alter, maintain and repair fire and security systems to a high compliant standard and to specification.\\n\\n• Conducting installations of Fire and Security systems to the required British Standard, on time and on budget.\\n\\n• Conducting small works alterations to the required British Standard, on time and on budget. Alterations will consist of additions to systems, repairs to systems and investigations to systems.\\n\\n• Conduct Routine Maintenance of Fire & Security system to the level required by British Standards\\n\\n• Conduct Corrective repairs to the required British Standard, on time and on budget\\n\\n• Help to manage & exceed client expectations\\n\\n• Provide accurate, regular reports to your manager on the progress of the work\\n\\n• Manage other contractors and junior colleagues on site where appropriate\\n\\n• Responsible for the Health & Safety of yourself and others\\n\\n• Where appropriate provide the correct completed certification accurately and on time.\\n\\n• Participate in our On Call Rota for out of hours emergencies\\n\\n• We are looking for your help in reducing repeated callouts and so will expect you to achieve a first-time fix rate of 90%\\n\\n• We expect you to be aware of and comply with the British Standards for servicing of systems.\\n\\n• Ensure your van stock level is adequate for our customer base and their requirements. • Use PDA as expected and in real time\\n\\nIn return for your hard work we’ll supply all the normal things you would expect:\\n\\n• Van (can be used privately, although we’ll ask for a contribution from you for this)\\n\\n• Fuel card\\n\\n• Uniform\\n\\n• Laptop\\n\\n• Tablet\\n\\n• Phone\\n\\n• Ladders\\n\\n• Drills (we’ll ask you to supply your own hand tools)\\n\\n• 23 days holiday a year (excluding Bank Holidays)\\n\\n• Pension\\n\\n• Private health scheme
