Field based role for the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial doors. Working in a team of two, you will be responsible for training your engineer’s apprentice. Responsible for a company vehicle which must be kept clean, organised, and stocked as required with a standard set of equipment and parts.
Door systems you will work on:
- Rolling shutters and grilles
- Sectional overhead doors
- High speed doors
- Personnel doors
- Automatic gates
- Smoke and fire curtains
Candidates with a practical skill set and/or from an engineering background will be suited to this role.
Transferable Skills:
- Reading of engineering drawings
- Setting out
- Use of hand tools
- Electrical wiring knowledge
- Use of various plant and equipment
- Preferred CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA
Salary depends on experience and knowledge. Area covered is Essex & London.
