Audio Visual Installation Engineer experience installing AV systems, including at least 12 months configuring and commissioning equipment.
- Strong on-site technical delivery across multiple AV disciplines.
- AVIXA CTS certified (or working towards CTS-I).
- Experience with Crestron DM/NVX and use of Crestron Toolbox.
- Experience with Biamp Tesira and Q-SYS platforms.
- Audinate Dante Level 1 (Level 2 desirable).
- Deployment of Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms solutions.
- Experience with Cisco video conferencing endpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and commission integrated AV systems.
- Carry out pre-site staging, rack building, cable termination, and structured cabling.
- Deliver first and second fix works as required.
- Interpret and work accurately from technical drawings and documentation.
- Produce and maintain project technical documentation.
- Review and advise on AV system designs and suggest improvements.
- Plan and integrate AV systems within IP network environments, ensuring IT/security compliance.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues proactively.
- Liaise directly with manufacturers to resolve technical queries.
