Service Designer - Digital Transformation Interim Contract - Inside IR35 £500 per day Hybrid - approximately 2 days per week onsite in East London A large public-sector organisation is delivering an ambitious modernisation programme, redesigning services to improve outcomes while creating a more effective and efficient organisation.
We are looking for experienced Service Designers with strong Business Analysis capability who can understand how services operate today and, critically, design how they should operate in the future.
We need people who can understand the real problem, challenge established ways of working and design better services across people, process, technology, data and organisational structure.
The Role You will work across different council services / directorates / internal functions (HR / Finance / Procurement / Operations / Administration), taking transformation opportunities from discovery through to future-state design and delivery.
Understanding the As-Is is important, but the real value you will bring is defining the To-Be.
You will examine how work is delivered, where time and resources are consumed and what could be removed, simplified, automated or redesigned entirely.
