Role – DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer
Location – Twickenham 3 days a week and remote
Rate - £650 to £700 per day
Contract – Initial 6 months, Inside IR35
You must hold active DV Clearance to be eligible for this role.
The Opportunity
Infrastructure Engineer is required to support a major program of work in the defence sector. You will be deploying, transitioning, and maintaining critical IT applications and infrastructure solutions for a vital operational environment.
The Role
In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing modern infrastructure solutions, utilizing a broad spectrum of technologies including VMware NSX, vSphere, ESXi, Terraform, Ansible, Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), and a variety of hardware and networking components. You'll collaborate with diverse teams, communicate effectively across technical and organizational boundaries, and help shape best practices in a secure-by-design environment.
The Person
What experience will you have?
- Extensive experience with VMware virtualization technologies (ESXi, vSphere, NSX, VLCM)
- Experience working in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server deployment, configuration, and management (including AD, DNS, WSUS, GPOs)
