The Opportunity
We are looking for a Lead Business Intelligence Developer to join a growing Data & Analytics function at a pivotal point in its journey. This is a senior, hands-on role with real influence; shaping how data is modelled, governed and consumed across the business.
You will play a key role in building trusted, high-quality data solutions that support decision-making at all levels, while also leading and developing a small, capable BI team. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with time split between the Basingstoke office and home working.
The Role
As Lead Business Intelligence Developer, you will take ownership of the BI data model and oversee the delivery of high-quality analytics solutions, including Power BI reporting and data extracts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and designing data models that translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality reporting solutions
- Delivering interactive Power BI dashboards, paginated reports and data extracts using strong DAX and SQL skills
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting needs and source systems, converting these into clear specifications
