The Role As a Service Desk Engineer, you'll provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across a range of end-user devices, infrastructure, and business-critical services.
You'll be responsible for resolving incidents, supporting users both remotely and on-site, and ensuring service requests are managed efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include: * Responding to service desk tickets and keeping users informed throughout the incident lifecycle. * Providing 1st and 2nd line support for desktop, infrastructure, and Microsoft environments. * Escalating complex technical issues to 3rd line support where appropriate. * Delivering both desk-side and remote support to end users. * Communicating planned maintenance and service updates to the user community. * Monitoring system alerts, triaging issues, and escalating where necessary. * Maintaining accurate incident records within the ITSM system. * Documenting resolutions and contributing to the technical knowledge base. * Supporting the Major Incident Management process when required. * Occasional travel to remote sites may be required.
