The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Sales Manager / Business Development Lead to help grow a high-value Cyber Security consulting practice across the UK. This is a pure consulting sales role β€” focused on advisory, transformation and risk-led engagements, not product resale or managed services. You will work alongside senior consultants and technical specialists to shape meaningful solutions for enterprise clients, positioning the business as a trusted cyber security advisor in a complex and fast-moving market. The Role

You will be responsible for winning and growing cyber security consulting engagements across regulated and commercial industries, with a particular focus on enterprise clients. The role blends new business development, account growth and strategic positioning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving growth of the cyber security consulting portfolio across the UK market.
  • Identifying, targeting and securing new enterprise-level clients.
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline from lead generation through to close.
  • Working closely with consulting teams to shape tailored, outcome-focused solutions.
  • Leading bids, proposals, RFPs and client presentations.
  • Building long-term relationships with C-suite executives, CISOs and senior stakeholders.
  • Managing complex sales cycles, negotiating commercial terms and closing high-value engagements.
  • Staying current on cyber threats, regulatory frameworks and market trends to inform conversations and strategy.

The Person

You will be a credible, consultative cyber sales professional who is comfortable operating at senior levels and navigating complex buying environments.

Essential experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in B2B sales within cyber security, IT services or consulting.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong consultative selling approach β€” able to translate technical risk into business value.
  • Deep understanding of the UK cyber security market and regulated industries.
  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders across large organisations.
  • Strong commercial judgement and ability to build business cases for cyber investment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a boutique or specialist consulting firm.
  • An existing network across Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Transport & Logistics, Life Sciences or other regulated sectors.
  • Background selling transformation, risk or compliance-led consulting services.
