Based in our Warehouse in Westbury Sub Mendip, you will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.

DC Product is part of the JLA family and has been trading for nearly 40 years. We sell Warewashing, Icemaking and Laundry equipment through our national distributor network and sell all related spare parts, accessories and chemicals. We also have a technical and service team and fulfil our customers warranty and service needs through a national subcontractor network.
Key tasks:
- Take delivery of goods and supplies
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Store goods appropriately
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch and modify machines where necessary (Training given)
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork-lift truck
- Arrange collections and book in deliveries
- Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system
- Keep accurate stock records
- Carry out stock counts as and when required
- Keep paperwork up to date
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner (Training given)
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
- Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.
Criteria:
- Essential: Apply previous work experience and logic to the role. Ability to work accurately and methodically. Good numeracy and IT skills. Ability to plan and organise workload. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items.
- Desirable: Understanding of health and safety requirements. Able to work well as part of a team. Enjoys contributing to the team and works well individually. Optimistic and open to change. Logical approach to problem solving.
Qualifications: Must be prepared to obtain a forklift truck license if you donβt already have one (Training given).
