Role overview
To install fire doors and frames at a variety of customer premises, ensuring current fire regulations are adhered to and quality of work is of a high standard.
Key tasks
- Installation of new BM Trada Q Mark Fire Doors and frames.
- Familiarity with and understanding of current Fire regulations to ensure compliance.
- Fire Door Maintenance / Remedial Works.
- Fire Stopping/Compartmentalisation.
- Service Delivery: Demonstrate an understanding of service delivery excellence, ensuring basics are delivered right every time.
- Contribute to service training across the business.
- Maintenance (PPM), Reactive, Small works: Monitor and report job status to ensure all customers' SLA and Regulatory (BAFE/NSI) requirements are met and exceeded.
- People Management: Set clear objectives for team members, providing regular feedback on performance.
- Manage performance across the team to achieve service delivery targets in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Manage employee relations issues in line with business policies.
- Coach and develop the team to ensure high performance and appropriate knowledge of business products.
- Address training and development needs and ensure teams have a personal development plan.
- Maintain ongoing communication with employees regarding their wellbeing.
- Managing Risk: Awareness of operational and regulation risks that may impact operations.
- Responsibility for reporting any risks to your line manager.
