Role overview

To install fire doors and frames at a variety of customer premises, ensuring current fire regulations are adhered to and quality of work is of a high standard.

Key tasks

• Installation of new BM Trada Q Mark Fire Doors and frames.
• Familiarity with and understanding of current Fire regulations to ensure compliance.
• Fire Door Maintenance / Remedial Works.
• Fire Stopping/Compartmentalisation.
• Service Delivery: Demonstrate an understanding of service delivery excellence, ensuring basics are delivered right every time.
• Contribute to service training across the business.
• Maintenance (PPM), Reactive, Small works: Monitor and report job status to ensure all customers' SLA and Regulatory (BAFE/NSI) requirements are met and exceeded.
• People Management: Set clear objectives for team members, providing regular feedback on performance.
• Manage performance across the team to achieve service delivery targets in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Manage employee relations issues in line with business policies.
• Coach and develop the team to ensure high performance and appropriate knowledge of business products.
• Address training and development needs and ensure teams have a personal development plan.
• Maintain ongoing communication with employees regarding their wellbeing.
• Managing Risk: Awareness of operational and regulation risks that may impact operations.
• Responsibility for reporting any risks to your line manager.

Criteria

Experience (what you have done): Proven track record in installing fire doors and/or fire door maintenance; some fire stopping experience would be beneficial.
