Responsibilities include:
- Installing fire doors and frames at a variety of customer premises.
- Ensuring current fire regulations are adhered to and quality of work is of a high standard.
- Installation of new BM Trada Q Mark Fire Doors and frames.
- Familiarity with and understanding of current Fire regulations to ensure compliance.
- Fire Door Maintenance / Remedial Works.
- Fire Stopping/Compartmentalisation.
- Demonstrating an understanding of service delivery excellence.
- Contributing to service training across the business.
- Monitoring and reporting job status to ensure all customers SLA and Regulatory (BAFE/NSI) requirements are met and exceeded.
- Setting clear objectives for team members and providing regular feedback on performance.
- Managing performance across the team to achieve service delivery targets in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Managing employee relations issues in line with business policies.
- Addressing training and development needs and ensuring teams have a personal development plan.
- Managing risk and being aware of operational and regulation risks that may impact operations.
- Reporting any risks to your line manager.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in installing fire doors and/or fire door maintenance.
- Some fire stopping experience would be beneficial.
- Personal qualities: self-motivated, reliable, punctual, and take pride in the quality of your work.
- Willingness to travel/work away when required.
- Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Joinery or relevant experience.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- CSCS Card Joinery (Blue).
