JLA has been providing critical assets and services to a range of businesses and sectors including Care Homes, Hospitals, Schools, and Hotels for over 50 years. These assets and services are crucial in supporting customers with their Laundry, Catering, Heating, Fire Safety, Infection Control, and Air Conditioning. The company offers a unique, all-inclusive package called Total Care, this rental model allows customers to make a single monthly payment, to receive brand new equipment, and have maintenance costs taken care of.
Role overview: Provides a critical level of support between JLA business functions and the respective Sales Team. The objective is to liberate Sales time and improve operations efficiency within JLA that result in a better customer experience and more reliable insights to report on.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Responsible for creation of sales opportunities within the CRM following successfully attended appointments across the SME sales teams.
- Work with Sales staff to ensure that Customer records (master data), appointments, outcomes and opportunity pipeline are accurate (using Pivotal, DocuSign and other technologies within JLA).
- Support creation of sales proposals to optimise field sales time and selling opportunities.
- Periodically liaise with the installation team to check on progress of scopes and pricing.
- Resolve sales specific queries to support Sales teams.
- Navigate the pricing lists for Total Care & Machine sales, inputting figures to calculate a pricing model where required.
- Work with Sales to organise contract management (via DocuSign).
- Support and where appropriate challenge RSMs to ensure that the sales pipeline is maintained and the demand forecast is accurate.

- This is a varied, fast paced role so we are looking for someone who can adapt quickly to an ever changing environment and take on new tasks with ease.
- The role involves liaison and collaboration with multiple business functions within JLA but predominantly sales.
- Confidence communicating with colleagues and customers verbally and in writing.
- Working with ambiguity and conflicting information and/or priorities.
Criteria (Essential):
- Excellent Communication Skills - written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft office applications.
- Knowledge of Pivotal, SMART and some knowledge of IFS.
Experience:
- Ideally you will have experience working with sales but not essential, as hunger to learn will provide the experience needed to be able to review and flag areas of concern to the key stakeholders.
- Strong administration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of JLA's operational processes.
- You will need to be assertive in order to meet planned deadlines and sales demands.
Personal qualities:
- Malleable and willing to learn.
- Ability to speak with demanding and extroverted personality types taking a balanced view on feedback.
- Ability to take dynamic instruction based on business priorities.
