As we continue with our exciting growth plans, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join us and deliver our expertise in providing the best possible catering solutions for the Warewashing, ice making and laundry industry. You will play a key role in the DC team by prospecting and generating warm leads from current customers and new business opportunities, transforming these into tangible business results and long-term customer relationships. We are looking for someone who is driven to succeed, able to build meaningful relationships with customers, and can demonstrate sound commercial acumen. In return, you will be joining an exciting business that will support you to succeed and develop.
As Business Development Manager for the South, you will develop and maximise our machine sales through new leads, warm and cold prospects and establishing a new pipeline of sale opportunities. Whilst this role is field-based, you will be able to work from home and at our DC Products office so that you feel a core part of our team.
How you will make an impact:
- Delivering against clear set goals and targets
- Researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursuing leads, and following through to a successful agreement
- Understanding target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
- Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met, scoping and pricing contracts
- Developing and delivering presentations to secure new business
- Maintaining relationships with current clients and identifying new prospects within new areas

- You will have knowledge and experience in pursuing new deals and sales opportunities.
- You will have experience in a catering equipment sales role. Negotiation and presentation skills are fundamental to gaining new business.
- You will have a successful track record in selling products using financial justification to demonstrate value to your customers.

- You will need to have a full UK driving licence as the role will involve travel across the South.
