Role overview: Manufacturing compliant Fire Door sets. Ensuring current fire regulations are adhered to and quality of work is of a high standard.

  • Bench Joinery work
  • Working with various hand tools
  • Reading from drawings
  • Ensuring work is completed on time and within budget
  • Working as part of a team

Managing Risk: Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your operations. Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business.

Knowledge and Skills (what you know and what you can do):

  • Essential: CNC/Edge Bander experience preferred, Timber Manufacturing/Fabrication, Quality Craftsmanship
  • Desirable: CNC/Edgebander Fire Door Fabrication

Experience (what you have done):

  • Essential: Proven track record in Manufacturing.

Personal qualities (the way you think and act):

  • Essential: Self-motivated, reliable, punctual and take pride in the quality of your work. Able to act in a professional manner. Good communication Skills.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Joinery or relevant experience, Full UK Driving license
  • Desirable: CSCS Card Joinery (Blue)
