Role overview
To install fire doors and frames at a variety of customer premises. Ensuring current fire regulations are adhered to and quality of work is of a high standard.
- Key tasks
- Installation of new BM Trada Q Mark Fire Doors and frames
- To be familiar with and understand the current Fire regulations to ensure the doors are fully compliant.
- To be able to identify labels, CE marks and Plugs to show that a door is certified.
- Fire Door Maintenance / Remedial Works
- Service Delivery
- Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance.
- To set clearly defined service level agreements for your team.
- Contribute to the service training across the business.
- Monitor and report on the KPI’s on a daily basis to track progress and backlog for all customers, not exhaustive: Maintenance(PPM), Reactive, Small works
- Monitor and report job status to ensure all customers SLA and Regulatory (BAFE/NSI) requirements are met and exceeded.
- People Management
- Set clear objectives for your team members providing regular feedback on performance.
- Manage performance across the team to ensure the achievement of service delivery targets in line with Service Level Agreements
- Manage any employee relations issues in line with the policies set out by the business
- Coach and develop the team to ensure they perform at a high level, ensuring colleagues maintain appropriate knowledge of the business products
- Address any training and development needs and ensure teams have a personal development plan.
- Maintain ongoing communication with employees regarding their wellbeing
- Managing Risk
- Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your operations.
- Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business.
