Role overview The purpose of this role is to be a key contributor to the success of the business and as part of the senior leadership team for Fire you will provide leadership to the Passive function. You will have responsibility for the operational delivery of Installations, PPM and reactive workload. You will be required to support the business within the BM Trada re-certifications audit bi-annually and will be responsible for processes and people ensuring your function plays its part in delivery of the Business Plan Objectives. Key tasks As part of the leadership team to contribute to the strategic and business planning process To liaise with other Leaders on business initiatives and objectives to achieve business goals Responsible for ensuring successful timely delivery of all Installation, PPM and Reactive workload within the passive department Responsible for the management of P&L and forecasting for the department Technical support to all members of passive department and also across other departments ie. Commercial team when quoting Role Profile Responsible for the management of the Fire Door Manufacturing Responsible to ensure BM Trada re-certification bi-annual audits are successfully completed Ensuring a rigorous audit process is in place to conduct systematic reviews and risk assessments To provide reporting on service levels, issues, and plan for any gaps To provide oversight in co-ordinating work including assessment of labour requirements, plans and materials Ensuring all work delivered confirms to the relevant legislation and to the highest standard Managing the supply chain and logistics associated with your function Provide commercial leadership to your teams to encourage a holistic approach to total care of customers Build long term and sustainable customer relationships whilst maintaining the highest standard of presentation, integrity and customer support To develop new systems and procedures to constantly improve efficiency and effective service. Service Delivery Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance. To set clearly defined service level agreements for your function Contribute to improving the compliance capability across the business, ensuring quality training and development tools are available to embed this competence across the business. People Management Set clear objectives for your team members providing regular feedback on performance. Manage performance across the team to ensure the achievement of service delivery targets in line with Service Level Agreements Manage any employee relations issues in line with the policies set out by the business Coach and develop the team to ensure they perform at a high level, ensuring colleagues maintain appropriate knowledge of the business products Address any training and development needs and ensure teams have a personal development plan. Managing Risk Act as expert for operational and regulation risks which may impact all operations. Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business. To provide audits plans and reporting Managing Health & Safety Set a framework for the business H&S strategy and implementation Conduction Risk Assessments and Method Statements, compiling reports in line with H&S requirements Liaising with all the National Operations Managers s to ensure operations and delivery is in line with the framework set.
