Overview

  • Servicing and Commissioning of Smoke Ventilation systems
  • Ensuring site compliance with BS9999 building regulations
  • Working knowledge of ADB, BS9991, BS5839
  • Able to work as part of an experienced team of engineers and be able to work autonomously
  • An ability to physically check, maintain and diagnose mechanical & electrical systems, and undertake remedial work when required
  • Understanding of electrical circuits within control panels
  • An ability to problem-solve, think outside of the box and provide thorough solutions

Position Requirements

  • 3 years+ experience in a similar role
  • Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card, IPAF etc.
  • CITB H&S Qualified (SSSTS, IOSH, SEATS) advantageous
  • 18th edition or any electrical qualifications advantageous
  • Full UK driving license
  • Willing to work away (although not often)
