Commercial Analyst - Remote

JLA has been providing critical assets and services to a range of businesses and sectors including Care Homes, Hospitals, Schools, and Hotels for over 50 years. These assets and services are crucial in supporting customers with their Laundry, Catering, Heating, Fire Safety, Infection Control, and Air Conditioning.

The company offers a unique, all-inclusive package called Total Care, this rental model allows customers to make a single monthly payment, to receive brand new equipment, and have maintenance costs taken care of.

We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will translate complex data into actionable business insights that drive revenue growth and strategic decision-making. Analyse sales, market, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue growth.

• Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver data-driven insights that inform commercial strategy.
• Develop forecasting models to predict future business performance and market trends.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role with commercial/business focus.
• Strong proficiency with common data analysis tools, with a specific focus on Power BI, SQL, Databricks and Azure data platform.
• Ability to translate commercial and operational requests for insight from non-experts into actionable analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, compelling manner.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
• Practical experience of strong data governance and compliance practices.
• Experience in the B2B retail, subscription or services businesses - ideally experience in businesses with large field-force based operations.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Understanding of emerging technologies, including automation, ML and AI to facilitate data analytics.
