The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a leading contractor delivering major SP Energy Networks (SPEN) projects across the Central Belt. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Central Belt Scotland. This role offers hybrid working, long-term security, and the chance to work on large, complex energy and infrastructure projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of major SPEN projects (1m - 20m+).
  • Assist with contract administration under NEC3 / NEC4.
  • Maintain cost control, forecasting, CVRs, and monthly reporting.
  • Prepare and negotiate subcontract packages and variations.
  • Manage compensation events, risk, and change control.
  • Work closely with site teams and engage with SPEN project stakeholders.
  • Support valuations, final accounts, and project financial governance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civils, utilities, energy, or infrastructure.
