Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Energy & Infrastructure
We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Freelance/Contract) to support the delivery of high-voltage transmission and distribution projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to complex energy infrastructure work on a flexible basis.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for commercial management across projects.
- Oversee budgets, cashflow, reporting, and subcontractor payments.
- Drive contract administration under NEC (Options A & E).
- Lead negotiations with clients and supply chain partners.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record as a QS in contracting, ideally within energy, utilities, or infrastructure on HV projects.
- Strong NEC expertise (especially Options A & E).
- Excellent financial control and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
