JL Renewable Solutions are currently supporting a leading infrastructure contractor on the appointment of a Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee multiple transmission projects across the East Anglia region. This role will suit an experienced commercial professional with a strong background in infrastructure and NEC contracts, capable of leading commercial activities across several live projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the commercial function across multiple transmission projects
  • Managing project commercial teams and supporting delivery performance
  • Forecasting, cost reporting and financial management
  • Providing commercial support to senior leadership teams
  • Contract administration under NEC forms of contract
  • Risk management and commercial strategy

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within power, utilities, infrastructure or transmission sectors
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge
  • Previous experience operating at Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager level
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong commercial leadership and stakeholder management skills
