JL Renewable Solutions are supporting a leading infrastructure contractor with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major transmission and infrastructure projects across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering long-term framework and project work within the utilities and infrastructure sectors.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects and provide support and guidance to junior members of the commercial team.
Responsibilities include:
- Commercial management of NEC contracts
- Ownership of project CVRs and forecasting
- Cost control and financial reporting
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Management of compensation events and variations
- Commercial risk management
- Client and stakeholder engagement
- Supporting and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors
Projects include transmission infrastructure, overhead line works, underground cable installations, bridge works, civils, trackway construction and associated infrastructure schemes.
