JL Renewable Solutions are partnering with a growing infrastructure contractor delivering major transmission and civil engineering projects across Scotland. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of projects across the Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to work on long-term infrastructure projects within a supportive commercial team.
The Role
Reporting to a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial delivery of multiple projects from contract award through to final account. Key responsibilities include:
- NEC contract administration
- Cost forecasting and reporting
- CVRs and commercial reporting
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Variations and change management
- Valuations and payment applications
- Risk and opportunity management
- Supporting final accounts
Projects include transmission infrastructure, overhead line works, underground cable installations, civils, trackway construction, foundations and associated infrastructure works.
