A growing engineering business is looking to appoint an Estimator to support its expanding workload across Utilities, M&E, Civils, Controls, SCADA and BESS projects. This is a strong opportunity for an Estimator looking for progression, variety and direct access to senior leadership.

The Role

  • Managing tender enquiries across utilities, M&E, civils, controls and energy projects
  • Preparing accurate pricing, costings, BOQs and rate schedules
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Supporting pricing strategy, commercial decision-making and bid governance
  • Working closely with commercial, engineering, QS and operational teams
  • Helping improve tender turnaround, win rates and commercial discipline
  • Contributing to the development of processes and internal estimating capability

This position offers strong visibility within the business and the ability to influence tender outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in one or more of the following areas is beneficial:

  • Utilities, multi-utilities, DNO or ICP environments
  • M&E or building services
  • Civils or infrastructure projects
  • Controls, SCADA, PLC or BESS
  • Energy-sector estimating
  • Producing tenders, cost models, BOQs and structured estimates
  • Engaging with suppliers and managing RFQs
  • Strong analytical and commercial awareness
