An established power infrastructure contractor is looking to engage an experienced Tendering Engineer / Estimator to support a growing pipeline of major energy projects.
With a number of significant tenders requiring submission over the coming months, the business is seeking additional resource to support the delivery of bids across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), substations, grid connections and renewable energy infrastructure projects.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity with flexibility to work 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
The Role
You will support the preparation and submission of tenders for major power infrastructure projects, working closely with engineering, commercial and delivery teams.
Responsibilities will include
- Reviewing and analysing tender documentation
- Producing cost estimates for electrical and civils packages
- Supporting bids for 33k V, 66k V and 132k V projects
- Coordinating technical and commercial inputs
- Identifying project risks and opportunities
- Supporting tender submissions within NEC contract environments
- Liaising with design, engineering and operational teams

Whilst BESS experience would be advantageous, strong experience pricing HV infrastructure, substations, grid connections or associated civils packages is equally of interest.
