Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the commercial delivery of multiple NEC Option B projects simultaneously (ranging from £5k to £1m in value).
- Oversee and drive high-volume frameworks, ensuring consistency and commercial rigour.
- Provide mentorship, support, and day-to-day guidance to Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
- Take full ownership of higher-value or more complex contracts within the portfolio.
- Manage all QS duties including cost control, forecasting, reporting, valuations, variations, and contractual correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with NEC processes, contract obligations, and internal governance.
- Liaise closely with operational teams to provide clear commercial direction.
- Maintain a proactive approach - following up, resolving issues efficiently, and going above and beyond to achieve project and commercial objectives.
- Contribute to the development and standardisation of distribution templates and commercial processes.
