This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitiousRestaurant Manager to play a key role in a dynamic & growing restaurant group with big plans ahead. You will be joining a driven and passionate team. Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand across three locations, Berenjak is an exciting group of Persian restaurants with four locations in the UK (Mayfair, Soho, Borough Market and Soho Farmhouse) and eight internationally across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and New York.
The Location
Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Berenjak is a fast paced, exciting and critically acclaimed Persian restaurant situated in the heart of Soho. The menu reinterprets the classic hole in the wall eateries lining the streets of Tehran. The restaurant accommodates 40 covers over one floor, rustic and lively, bringing to life Iranian history and culture. We have a passionate, fun & enthusiastic team that embody this culture and re-create, family-oriented memories for guests.
The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager, but most importantly, a committed self-starter who is eager to learn, develop and be part of this unique restaurant. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences with personality and flair, we want to meet you!
The successful Restaurant Manager will have:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to take on more responsibility;
- Warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail;
- Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team;
- Passion for hospitality and a good knowledge of food and beverage;
- Eagerness to learn and develop your career within an award-winning restaurant group.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the senior management team in managing day-to-day restaurant operations with warmth and professionalism
- Ensuring the running of a smooth service. This is a hands-on management role and the ideal candidate will be able to oversee and manage a large, dynamic FOH team.
- Build a tight-knit, high-performing team. Celebrate wins, recognise talent, and give feedback that lifts people up.
- Developing recruitment, onboarding, and training — help new team members feel at home from day one.
- Champion quality and consistency - ensure positive communication between both the FOH and Kitchen teams to deliver excellent service and guest experience.
