JKS are seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. As Marketing Manager, you and the team will be responsible for the marketing and design for our Indian restaurants (Gymkhana, Trishna, Brigadiers and Ambassadors Clubhouse). This role involves developing and executing marketing strategy for the brands that will translate globally and deliver results both commercially and creatively. You will be responsible for ensuring marketing standards are maintained while also driving covers and sales.
The Position:
- Develop and implement a brand and partnerships strategy that will grow the JKS Indian restaurants into market leading global brands.
- Strategise, execute and report ROI on creative-forward digital marketing.
- Build a comprehensive annual marketing roadmap that will support both the growth objectives of each individual restaurant and the brands as a whole.
- Lead the execution and implementation of marketing initiatives, enabling the Marketing Team to hit long-term and short-term goals.
- Work with creative, design and videography teams both internal and freelance to create innovative brand collateral and campaigns which stand out in the market.
- Manage PR agency partners and ensure they are meeting objectives, providing demonstrable ROI.
- Strategise and execute new brand launch marketing plans.
- Strategise, secure and execute creative brand collaborations and partnerships.
- Create relationships with other leading brands that share our values and make them a reality.
- Work collaboratively with the team to define measurable metrics for brand value and use them to judge the success of brand marketing efforts.
- Experience with CRM - creating campaigns, automations and using website CMS systems and regularly updating websites.
- Own and ensure that brand initiatives are contributing to the commercial success of the business.
- Demonstrate how brand initiatives are helping drive increased covers and top-line sales.
- Continually measure success through key performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analysis, campaign results and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the team.
- Occasionally support other JKS brands as required.
Who You Are:
- You will need to have a broad knowledge of marketing across multi-platforms: print, digital, video, social media and press.
- Growth mindset with proven track record of developing and embodying a culture of rapid experimentation and continuous learning.
- Commercially driven.
- Savvy with creating market-leading content with an iPhone.
- A compelling writer able to translate raw ideas from stakeholders into narrative brand copy that drives engagement and results.
- Minimum 3 years experience in brand forward marketing role at a consumer facing brand in the premium/luxury space (experience in food and beverage or other hospitality a plus).
- A passion for restaurants and a keen knowledge of the London scene and global landscape.
- Ability to manage a large number of stakeholders.
- Critical thinking, strategic acumen, and market insight.
- Experience working on an international brand a plus.
- Experience with Adobe or other creative tools and paid media is a plus.
