Berenjak are seeking a Reservations Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences, with a keen interest in hospitality and a willingness to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career within an award‑winning, critically acclaimed restaurant group.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, personable self‐starter, committed to providing excellent guest relations and maximising revenue across the group.
Responsibilities- Daily email communication with guests via the restaurant’s inboxes and the VIP reservation line.
- Strong working knowledge of Sevenrooms to ensure best reservation management and optimisation.
- Providing administrative assistance to the Operations Team.
- Co‑ordinate the event planning process, gather final details and communicate these through function sheets.
- Assisting the site teams with guest facing email communication and drafting proposals.
- Achieve agreed KPIs including response time, conversion and revenue.
- Take a pro‑active approach to problem solving and challenges and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Assist with other activations where necessary, such as corporate gifting, merchandise sales, charity events, etc.
- Work closely with the operations and onsite teams to ensure the smooth running of events and private hires.
- We’re closed on Sundays – that’s always a set day off!
